Beautiful spot on the ocean. The Inn is run by hospitality students studying at the Community College. The Inn is on the campus. Some of the furnishings could be updated and the Wi-Fi was suboptimal, but worked with a personal hot spot. The location and walking paths were wonderful. It was perfect for us and just a short drive into downtown. Ocean birds were plentiful!
We arrived at the Portland Airport and caught a 20 minute Uber to the Casco Ferry. A short ferry ride to this very quiet island. The Hotel is within an old Military base gentrified. Staff were fantastic and the food was good ,not great, but always available and the dining areas are elegant. The rooms and lobby area lived up to the photos. This property is beautiful. It sits in the historic area of the old port. It is very close to the waterfront, restaurants, shops and historic areas. The mattress and sheets were superb. While in the old port, we took a trolley tour which took us out to Portland headlight and then gave us a tour of of the old port. You can catch fairies from about two or three minutes walk away, we would strongly recommend this hotel.
We typically will rent a home, but this time around we stayed at the Breakers Inn and it was the best of both worlds. Nestled in the quaint town of Scarborough with the most beautiful beach. The Inn gives you the spoil of a hotel and the cozy comforts of a home. The hospitality from the staff was wonderful. Walks on the beach at low tide are relaxing. Our room was well appointed and the bed was comfy. We are looking forward to next year’s stay.

The staff were excellent as was the accommodations such as the indoor heated pool and the breakfast. My wife and I were above all, very blessed to be able to have our "puppy-dog," with us!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Check-in was super easy, and we didn’t have to wait at all, which was a great start. The staff was so nice and welcoming, and our room was clean and looked just like the pictures online — always a plus! The breakfast provided was ample and had a fun make your own waffle station.

This hotel is in the perfect location to walk to everything around the waterfront. I had a really late check in because of a delayed flight and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portland!
Beautiful apartment, perfect size, and just a really easy place to stay. Well designed & comfortable. The staff made the biggest difference though. Super responsive, genuinely warm, and they held my bags before check-in and after check-out, making my stay so much easier. Would stay again in a heartbeat and definitely recommend.
My sister and I reserved twin beds with a shared bath for two nights. The first night we asked if there was room with a private bath available. There was and we were given that room for just a bit more in price. The next day we had to move, but the staff moved our luggage to the room with shared bath. Shared bath was fine, not a problem ever getting in and we saw no one else involved in our "sharing". Staff very pleasant, restaurant great for breakfast; we did not have dinner there. ...
I changed my hotel to this one since it listed a EV car charger. Apparently the city owns the charger and it is damaged. BUT I was pleasantly surprised by how nice everything else was at the hotel.
