"The Edgbaston Park Hotel is a hidden gem in Birmingham. Beautiful location, modern rooms and facilities and excellent food and drink options. A very relaxing and fun mid-week break. Staff are great as well."

"We love this hotel. It was our fourth stay. We didn't see any staff,as that is how the hotel works, but if there are any problems then help can be found at the pub next door. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is well situated and it's not far to walk into the city centre. Free parking is a bonus. Great food at the pub next door. What more can I say!"

Large standard double room with 3 double glazed windows, desk, lounge chair coffee table, large tv, walk-in wardrobe and large marble en suite with shower over bath. Clean and...

"Great parking and reception staff on arrival. Comfy bed and nice/modern bathroom. Amazing location with Cadbury world less than 5 minutes walk away - lovely parks as well. Good options for breakfast and again very kind staff. Seemed very safe location."

"It was great value for money. The room was absolutely fine and the bar restaurant downstairs was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed my night there"

"Conveniently located for Birmingham Uni. Basic, but good value. 2 minutes walk to Edgbaston Park Hotel, where you check in. Decent bar food and an excellent breakfast at Edgbaston Park. "

"Very good breakfast excellent omelette done by the chef Reception staff very welcoming and helpful"

"Perfect location! Quaint spot just outside of the city centre close to UoB. Sam and reception staff incredibly friendly. We could have chatted for hours if we didn't have an itinerary of things we needed to complete before the end of the day! Would definitely recommend a stay here."

"Surprised when opened the door the room was really big, khad the best sleep i have had in years was so comfortable, water pressure amazing the shower was so refreshing, dissapoi ted we only stayed a night, nice short walk to the NIA arena"

"It was conveniently located near stops and a handy shop. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. The staff were pleasant."

"A basic and compact hotel room but it was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. A light controlled from the bedside would have been helpful. The service at reception was very good - polite and cheerful - manned 24/7. The location was great - under a mile from the Utilita Arena and Symphony Hall. Free parking made it ideal for our stay. Whilst the standard rating system might have awarded 3 stars, for our purposes it was 4 star."

"I would rate the room as average because they charge almost same as hotels but toilet os separate and no coffee and towel facilities in the room but room was well cleaned. "

"Booked breakfast, skipped the second day, enough said, definitely salesman hotel these day, a bit tired but the staff were very friendly and helpful, a pleasure to deal with"

"Easy to park. Staff extremely helpful, asked all our questions. Room clean and newly decorated. Tea and coffee in room. Comfortable queen bed. Hotel being renovated so some building work visible. . Bar area newly refurbished. No food available at present time , but we were told that the restaurant was being renovated."

"It was dirty, cheet bed and cover duvet not change and not cleaning. No towels. I am not recognised. We left after see bed not clean. "

"Booking is made on Expedia, but the you complete the registration on another site. Shower is built into a very small closet. Toilet is on the other side - in another closet. You have to straddle the toilet to use a hand basin that barely fits my hands and it's not possible to wash your face in it without splashing water all over the floor. Entrance way through to the room is in shockingly poor condition. Not the welcome one would hope to see. I would not recommend this room."
