"Great stay for a mini break in the city. Very comfortable and quiet- the diner had great food as well."

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"Lovely location and friendly staff"

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Incredible pool, gym and spa. Great food, absolutely delicious. Only downfall was the rooms were hot and small."

"towels and amenities in the room is my only comment. The staff were lovely and a delight - treated me like a human and we had a laugh and a chat"

"Absolutely great from start to visit. My children enjoyed the pool amd playroom. Staff were great definitely would come back"

"The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. We told them that’s not possible we had been there the past 2 nights and we needed to get to the train station as soon as possible. I get there...

"Read a lot of reviews prior to booking, checking in appeared to be an issue as you have to check in at the Aztec hotel first. It really isn't an issue, the hotel is immediately opposite the Lodge and takes less than a minute to get there on foot. 8 Staff on reception were very helpful and explained everything about breakfast being served in the hotel, again not a problem to hop across in the morning. Rooms in the Lodge are clean and comfortable, top marks for having taps that enable...

"Such history and excellent customer service. A great romantic get away"

"A little bit difficult to get there but worth the trip. Very nice and comfortable room. Very well stocked with breakfast foods. Very close and easy access to Wales and Eye Valley."

"The restaurant is excellent, the staff is wonderful and the property is amazing."

"Extremely helpful staff, very clean room and hotel in general. Handy carpark but definitely needed satnav to find it! Beautiful views from the terrace and restaurant. Good breakfast, served by an extremely helpful waiter! The only slight downside was the very small double bed… but then we are used to a super-king! Plan to stay again…"

"Wonderful property and hosts. Great parking and facilities in property with plenty of space and stocked kitchen facilities. Would stay again"

"The host was very friendly and gave us lots of ideas of what attractions to visit while in the city. There's a bus route nearby but we decided to drive into the city. The accommodations were very clean, quite, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The building was very beautiful and unique. I would highly recommend staying there. It was a comfortable stay at a great price."

"Have stayed here many times. Always clean, quiet, and friendly staff."

"Perfect hotel for what we needed. We'd come for the cricket in Neville Road, a short bus ride and short walk. Our room was clean with 2 armchairs and the bathroom was spacious and looked as if it had recently been refurbished. Bus routes into the city centre from over the road. If staying in Bristol again we would probably stay here again."

"Friendly. Comfortable bed"

"Very clean room. Check in staff very helpful. Free carpark. Would stay again."

"Stayed here a few times. Nice rooms, parking nearby. Great staff."

"Beautiful hotel. A real luxury for a birthday treat. Room was spotless. The staff went over and above. The breakfast was well worth adding. It was served in a lovely dining room. The buffet was extensive and the hot food was of a very high standard. Would love to return."
