Great family stay We had a fantastic stay at the Aztec Hotel with our three children. The hotel was very family-friendly, and the kids absolutely loved the pool area — it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Breakfast was also a real hit, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. It was a great way to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The hotel was excellent; service at the restaurant was exceptional, and we had a very enjoyable stay. The only area where improvement could be made is the reception service. While the staff were polite, communication regarding room readiness could have been clearer which causes the check in process was quite slow.

Positives Breakfast lovely. Spa facilities looked great although we didn’t use them. Room and bed was very comfortable and the bar area is very welcoming. Plenty of parking. Negatives Check in system was very poor. Lamps in room didn’t work, one wasn’t even plugged in. Lifts both out of order which was a struggle when one of our party uses a walking stick and struggled to walk.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel! The breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful. I didn't have a chance to visit the pool and sauna however. Only item to note is the central heating system was broken the weekend that I stayed. The hotel helpfully supplied a portable heater, which helped in the evening.
