"Centrally located in old town Bilbao. Has a locker facility right across. The view from the balcony is amazing. The room has no air conditioning, just a fan which was not enough. The bathroom was ok, with a good shower."

"What a wonderful hotel - had everything we needed in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere, even to the Guggenheim (20 min walk down the river 🥰) Know that this area is a pedestrian only area as it is the medieval heart of Bilbao. The beds were spacious, pillows were great, we did spring for a larger room with a balcony & a great view and even though the hotel is in Casco Viejo/Zazpikaleak it was quiet. We were there during the heat wave and the AC worked great! So thankful to have a spot to cool off & refresh. They organized our airport transfer and sent an driver for a minimal fee and communicated exactly where my brother could park, as we did a driving tour of the region and met in Bilbao at the hotel before heading to our next destination. Breakfast at Ola, 1 Michelin Star was fantastic, we even went to Lasarte-Oria and had a lunch at Chef Martín Berasategui, his home and 3 Star Michelin restaurant ~ what an experience in Basque Country overall! One million percent do t hesitate to go, take your time, siesta, stay up late and commune with people and stay at HOTEL TAYKO BILBAO ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"We stayed in the Petit Palace as a base for exploring Bilbao and the region and very pleased with the choice. The location is fantastic, on the edge of the old town. There is a train/metro station a couple of minutes away and it's a pleasant 25 minute riverside stroll to the Guggenheim. The building is old but the rooms have been well modernised with very good bathroom/shower. The staff are all helpful and friendly, we had the daily breakfast which was a good way to start the day. Our room faced the road but noise wasn't an issue and we even had a small balcony. For a city break base would definitely recommend."
