Didn't stay here, but I think it is the only hostel in town. My sister and I were just in Talkeetna on a day trip, but I heard this place was a good option for travelers looking to stay here longer.

"A gorgeous lodge and lodging. The grounds are pristine, with several nice choices of restaurants, as well as amazing views from various sitting locations. Comfortable rooms of all sizes, all equipped with black-out curtains…a must for those endless summer nights! Friendly staff at every stop. Thumbs up!"

"It was a last minute booking. There were others staying at the same time but we were spread out enough that we only saw each other at breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and the host was there to answer questions about the area. He engaged in conversation with everyone and made you feel welcome."

"Exceptional find. The manager, Dawn, was most accommodating. Brooks, her very friendly little poodle welcomed all with delight. Rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable. Views of the mountain are sometimes possible from the deck. Most impressive breakfast. Would love staying here again."
