This was a beautiful place to spend the night! The room was large (with a surprisingly large bathroom), the dining was delicious, the service was impeccable and best of all, the employees were the nicest we’ve met on this trip to Scotland. We highly recommend the Oak Tree Inn!!
Stayed in the hotel section after a very long international flight so it was nice to be near the airport. Enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds and enjoyed a sunset view from the back of property. Had a nice dinner at the Palomino. Quiet setting next to a golf course. Attentive staff. The room {#2} was very large as was the bathroom. It was a bit dated but still pleasant. Great golf course.
This is a beautiful 1800s home updated with modern amenities yet retaining the old elements that a person wants when they choose an old Scottish manor house. The chef is extraordinary and innovative yet dependable. The house is far from restaraunts, stores and entertainment so you must have your own transport. Also, wifi connections are awful except in the library.

Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.
Superb experience from check in all the way through to the amenities. Everything conveniently on site, classy, clean and all star were so friendly- from bar staff, check in, cleaning staff, spa staff. Everyone. Will be back.
The best thing about this hotel is really the proximity to the airport. It is a lovely hotel- rooms are great, not much noise and decent size. But it is amazing that you can just walk across the street to the airport without worrying about any transportation or delays.
I had an early morning flight and stayed the night before. I was able to get breakfast quickly at the hotel before casually walking over to catch my flight. Awesome!
The charming small hotel was an excellent location for exploring the area. Close to beautiful Kelvingrove park, museums, great restaurants, it was the perfect base for our adventure. The beds are comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean. Would definitely stay again.
