LOVE this hotel!! The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the hotel manager and staff. The service was wonderful, our suite was very nicely appointed, with gorgeous views of the lake. The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. We had such a great experience. Room had the views of the lake and the mountains - out of this world. Every member of the staff was courteous, helpful, as well as very knowledgeable. This hotel is a very beautiful place to spend your vacation at, it has a gorgeous view to the lake ,the rooms are so spacious and clean .the staff are really their for you if you need anything .plus the managers and the receptionists are above and beyond they greet you every time they see you, they help you with any small things that you need.i really recommend this hotel to every person want to visit lugano.
I loved the views and that we had access to amazing grocery store (similar to Whole Foods) with a 15 minute walk (it’s moderate intensity to walk as some of it is uphill.) loved the huge rooms , even with the kitchen and all the amenities of an apartment and of course the balcony!
Short stroll down the ramp from the main buses and trains. Host brought us to door just down the block and showed us to our little apartment. Kitchen was fully equipped; even a dishwasher. Beautiful corner room with nice view down the alleys. Around the bend from our doorway was a cement patio with flowers to relax. The breakfast was great.
