Stayed here with my family. Really great hotel in a convenient location. Would definitely stay again. Pros: -Location. Walking distance to a lot of popular shopping and sights in Portland. And only a 2 minute walk to the MAX station light rail if you don't want to walk. -Very beautiful historic hotel -Great service from the staff -Pool is pretty cool -Good breakfast -Rooms were nice and spacious -Very good price for quality of hotel -Wifi worked well. The Heathman is beautiful and the staff are great. We had a few problems, though. We went to our room after being out and the door card didn’t work. We asked for help and they forgot about us. We had to call a second time. It turns out the battery had died. It took quite some time to get us in the room and we almost missed the performance we had paid for, next door. Nice place to stay. Room was very nice and clean. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. But Breakfast was a little disappointing.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The front desk lady was very nice and funny. The airport shuttle guy was very nice and helpful. I would recommend staying here. I felt safe and welcomed with my 2 kids.

The people at front desk were very nice and helpful. I loved the downstairs lobby/bar restaurant atmosphere as well. I utilized the workout room, and while it was functional I might try to dress it up a little bit. It might be nice to have some maps of Portland around too, so perhaps different neighborhoods can be circled/recommended?

The room style was old fashion motel and small. However, it was very clean and well kept. What amazed me was how quiet it was. I slept well and that was so important.

I really enjoyed my stay here. While there isn’t a lot in the immediate vicinity (though Black Angus is right next door), it’s still in a convenient part of Vancouver, next to the highway which allows quick access to Portland or Downtown Vancouver. My room was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t notice any noises outside or from other rooms, so falling asleep was no issue.
