Once in the hotel the staff, lobby, and overall vibe of the hotel is excellent! You can walk to many locations in Portland but as it is a city you do need to be careful especially at night. Double queen room is the perfect size, very spacious, and the beds were exceptional. We also loved the shower and bathroom. Excellent stay overall!

The bed was very comfortable and the room overlooked a park in not the best part of town, Pearl District. Our main disappointment was the expense of valet parking due to lack of street-side parking but did find a parking garage in walking distance on our last day in Portland. Breakfast was okay, however our eggs were way under cooked. The staff were very pleasant and as accommodating as they could possibly be. Overall was a nice stay.

Great stay. It’s a new, clean hotel and very walkable through the Pearl District and downtown—always felt safe. Powell’s Books is just around the corner and there’s tons of great food options, including Recess (the hotel’s restaurant). Beds were also super comfortable!

The hotel itself is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The one big issue with the hotel is the area it's in. There are a lot of homeless people in Portland. This is especially true in the downtown area bordering the Pearl District. It just didn't feel safe which colored the entire visit. If the hotel was in a safer feeling area, it would be great. Is it is, I probably wouldn't stay anywhere in the area. I would look for accommodations on the other side of the river.
