Excellent customer service. Very clean throughout the hotel and inside room and bathroom. Room and bathroom is spacious. Tub shower is excellent. Water pressure is super. The family loved the Pool and hot tub area. Also outdoor area is available and there’s an outdoor bar that opens in the evening. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with waffles, pancakes, eggs, a protein and potatoes. Can also request for kitchen staff to make an omelet if you prefer. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Convenient location right off the freeway. Small parking lot, arrive early if possible to get a spot.

Stayed here when my son graduated MCRD, it’s like 10 minutes away. Hotel is super clean, quiet and breakfast options are yummy. Beware you pay $25 a day to park, which makes no sense!

I felt comfortable staying here. Staff was friendly. The only thing needing changed is to at least have a continental breakfast.

The hotel was great. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were extremely clean. The only things we didn’t like was that the stairs to the rooms were very steep and small, and there is no vent in the bathroom so even a warm shower makes everything in the bathroom wet. 9/10

Nice place.

I've stayed here before, and really like the location, the friendliness, and reasonable rates. There is still no restaurant within the facility, but there is now a Starbucks "PickUp" here. I recommend the Hotel for anyone wishing to be near Balboa Park/Zoo, Gaslamp District, and/or Seaport Village.

Older hotel that shows her age with slow draining sinks for both our rooms, minuscule underground parking spots, older carpets and a tiny lobby. However, the property is maintained by a very friendly and helpful staff who are constantly cleaning. The beds are comfy and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast has waffles, bagels, English muffins, sausage, eggs, packaged muffins, cereals, yogurt, package oatmeal, fruit, tea, coffee & juices. Older temperamental toaster that should be retired....

We've stayed here over many years and enjoy the view of the ocean from our room. You can watch the Surfers! The hotel is in a wonderful spot where you can walk to shopping, restaurants, and of course walking over to the beach

My wife and I just spent 3 nights here for our Anniversary. The view from the living room and balcony was incredible. When we arrived our keys and paperwork were ready for us. we spent about 1 minute in the lobby signing in and receiving our keys before they took us on a quick tour to show us around the property and then escorted us to the room. The room was stocked with a variety of snacks and drinks. The snacks were simple single serve items like pretzels, cookies, chips and granola bars....

Loved our room and cozy bed! Mazie at the front desk was super awesome! Easy check-in! Parking not great...older builing and room..but we were very pleasef! We will be back! Thank you, Mazie!!!!

It was a very pleasant stay. Most hotels have ice buckets and ice machine this facility provides two ice trays in the freezer have a nice size little fridge and a stove top on the countertop with the sink so full of amenities almost like a kitchen

Was a bit skeptical at first but we loved the location and staff were amazing can’t wait to come back again

the staff is great and so accommodating. Love the location and very close to the ocean. ask for ocean view they have them. I will book again soon as always, I cant wait!
