"Room was decently cleaned and up to date. My bathroom seemed brand new. The only thing that really needed an update was the carpet - I got the sense that they were updating things regularly though. Misty from front desk was welcoming. Loved that the TVs had streaming services that we could sign in to our own. Bed was comfortable in my room. I had a kitchenette room which was nice. Would stay here again. I was not by the road, so my room was quiet enough, my son had a room right near the road and this prevented him from getting great sleep."

"Parking was plentiful, the rooms were clean and the bathroom smelled strongly of bleach. The included breakfast was decent but limited seating in a small space. It was only 7 min from Cal Poly Humboldt."

"Very cool historical hotel with lots of period decor back to early 2oth century. Main lobby / sitting area is in great shape and well maintained. Very fun to hang out or look around at all of the 20th century photos and artifacts. Our room was comfortable but does show some wear on the curtains and an old leather chair. Nevertheless very clean and comfortable, although lacking enough electrical outlets. Close to downtown shopping and areas which are getting revitalized."

"Lovely historic Hotel right on the square in the heart of downtown! Cute, cozy room with every kind of romantic detail. Tomo (restaurant) convienently located next to lobby with an amazing bar. Would definitely stay here again!"
