The front desk staff were the most friendly, gracious and helpful of all staff we have encountered in nearly six weeks of European travel. The hotel is in a quiet area of the very pleasant city of Loulé within easy walking distance of the historic old narrow street part of the town. In addition to typical breakfast food, included was a delightful selection of fresh fruit and an excellent espresso or café machine.

If you are looking for a very quiet location with country views, then this is the place. The expansive grounds and pool area are very well maintained. The staff are excellent and certainly make you feel welcome and they are also very helpful. There are only about 20 rooms. Nice touch is providing two bathrobes. The hot tub was not working during our stay. I had to ask the front desk for a blow dryer because the one in the room was very old and didn't blow hot air. The breakfast was ok, basic cereal, bread etc. But you could ask for hot eggs. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was beautiful. The distance to the water was an easy walk. The staff were all very nice. We had lunch one day by the pool, and the pizza was amazing! Drinks were reasonable and delicious....
