The breakfast was delicious, the beds super comfy, the bathrooms modern, and the rooms nice and quiet. The hotel staff went above and beyond helping us, even after we checked out and had to make it to the airport for a late flight. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel, though the V&A area is a bit of a hike - took us about 25 minutes. Breakfast is delicious.
Radisson Red usually get poor reviews. This was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. We did not "upgrade" our room and it was a good size with plenty of closet space and places to put our luggage... granted one suitcase was on the table, but there was plenty of space on the table. Bed was excellent. The only minor downside was the HVAC was inconsistent, but not uncomfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. We stayed in one of the 7 Airstream caravans on the roof, was actually an amazing experience and loved it. There is a roof top theater and bar and staff are very friendly and efficient. The building is old but very well maintained the elevator in the building could be 50 years or more old and has been modernised but it keeps its lovely old character. I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you want to experience the real Cape Town and explore this unique and historic city.
These people were so amazing from checkin to checkout. Very genuine and hospitable. They all were attentive to our needs and extended lots of helping hands. The rooms were amazing with an amazing view. Right in the heart of shopping and getting around. They offer complimentary shuttle service to things in the area and a free canal cruise pass. Absolutely amazing breakfast and amazing dinner menu. We hated leaving. The managers were awesome and so where all of out servers. Will stay 100 times...
A warm welcome greeted us on arrival. The team gave helpful advice and nothing was too much trouble, even offering to run to the pharmacist for medication. Breakfast was delicious. A wonderful boutique hotel with fantastic staff. Highly recommend.
This was German hospitality at its best. The staff is also very friendly and helpfull. The management is very attentive to the needs of the guests. There are many good shopping centres within close driving distance.

Hot water with a rainfall shower. Private time at dry sauna can be booked by reservation at the front desk. Location is good. Walkable to restaurants and places. Minutes from Bo Kaap, Table Mountain, Lion’s head, V&A waterfront. Secure onsite parking for a small additional daily charge (or can park in the street)....
The property is beautiful, very relaxing place, clean and the service was outstanding specially the front desk guy Supreme, we also meet the owner Lambert super friendly gentleman. It was an oasis by the sea for sure! Very close to everything 5 minutes drive from Camp Bay and 15-20 minutes drive from V&A. Definitely will be back.
The hotel is a modern 5 star hotel, all the amenities works perfectly and they are new. The staff were very painstaking and attentive . Breakfast was fantastic . The hotel is at a close proximity to V&A waterfront a must see when are in Cape Town
