"We needed a quick getaway and didn't want to leave our one-year-old, very people-loving cats behind. Cedar Glen Lodge in Tahoe Vista had a pet-friendly room available and we are so glad we got to stay there. The room was super clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable, and it had a beautiful, jetted soaking tub. Also the staff made us feel so welcome! We will be back for sure - highly recommend!"

"We would definitely stay here again! We were there for a family get-together and it is a very nice property. Good fresh breakfast served daily and lots to choose from. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa available all the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is very convenient...it's right in the middle of everything. Only 15 minutes to Lake Tahoe and just minutes from downtown Truckee! We didn't go into the pool but used the Hot Tub almost every day - big and hot! There are microwaves in every room, but curiously, not the breakfast room. I found the plumbing to be on the loud side - you could hear the shower from other rooms, but that's only one minor consideration. The beds were tall, but comfortable. We had an accessible bathroom which was very well appointed...lots of grab bars. Well done! We will definitely be back!"

"I've stayed at this location for over 50 years and I hate no microwave, now. There were only 2 shower towels and no hand towels with only one dinky little garbage can. Ice bath over a jaccuzi? Give me a break."
