Live Aqua Cancun - Adults Only - All-Inclusive

"We just stayed here for 8 days, it was a very nice resort. Overall a good experience. The food was amazing, MB is great and we went multiple nights. We did not pay and go to the Carnivore steak house. The breakfast buffet is what you’d expect and had many options. The staff (Helvert) was always ready for us at breakfast and gave us the best service. The room service was lowkey underrated as well, great options there for late night. The ocean was perfect, the seaweed issue is massively over hyped. They had a tractor do one pass every morning and it was gone. My complaint would be the pool area. Shade is abysmal, none at all to be fair. Chairs, you know how resorts are and how guests act, get to a spot early so you have it. The umbrella provides little to no shade after 9AM. They also have paid daybeds in sections which really limits the chairs at the pool so be prepared for that if you do not want to pay for seating. The pool service (Jonathon) was great and recommended a lot of good drinks, was also very friendly and quick service. Rooms were clean, and well kept. It’s a 15 year old resort so have that expectation of some paint chips here and there and tile work that could be better but it was not abundant."

"We really enjoyed our stay, especially our swim-up pool room. The view from our room was beautiful, and having direct access to the pool right from our room was definitely one of our favorite parts of the stay. The nightly entertainment was also a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed the Latin show and the circus show—they were both entertaining and added a nice touch to the overall experience. One thing I would have liked to see more of was Mexican food at the hotel. Since we were in Mexico, I was hoping there would be a larger variety of authentic Mexican dishes available. We also tried the room service, but unfortunately, we weren’t impressed with the quality of the food. That said, we really enjoyed the food at the hotel’s restaurants, which was much better overall. Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed the room, pool, and entertainment. With a little more variety and improvement in the food options, especially room service and Mexican cuisine, the experience would have been even better."

"The food was the absolute best part about this trip! It was SO freakin good i would go back for seconds xD. I would say the ONLY thing they should work on is entertainment, the shows were very underwhelming and they didn’t have much entertainment throughout the resort other than the RIU party but other than that resort was AMAZING. Carolina and Efrain were the best servers I’ve ever had, I have a lot of food allergies/restrictions and they went out of their way every time to ensure I was comfortable."
