Great experience ! Dave ,Marsha, Elezar and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable ,and everything was taken care of. They arranged a tour,massage, taxi service, meal delivery, and were always there with any questions I had.

We stayed here last year on our trip to Costa Rica. Last year, the young woman who works the front desk was extremely helpful to us, so we came back this year. This woman helped us get our backpack back that we accidentally left in a hotel in Manual Antonio, making numerous phone calls back and forth, ultimately arranging to have the bag delivered to another hotel near the airport in San Jose. The property is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous tropical plants everywhere you look. One of our favorite spots was the peaceful meditation lounge overlooking the koi fish and the magnificent mango tree—it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after traveling.

The hotel is located on top of a mountain with great expansive views. Its very cool at night but warm during the day. The cabins are cozy but have cooking facilities. The pool is refreshing. Javier does a great job making guests feel comfortable. Breakfasts were included and very tasty. There's a lot to do in the area. Poas Volcano, Grecia, and Sarchi is closer. Highly recommended.
We booked this room late in the evening, but they had everything ready for us, including free parking. The reception was very cordial, and the staff very accommodating. There was air conditioning, and the rooms were flooded with beautiful light in the morning. The bathroom was more than adequate. We had a breakfast-include package, and the food was very good, and the service was wonderful.

The staff here were awesome! Everything I asked for was immediately taken care of.
At one point, I asked if they knew where I could get a couple of shirts repaired. They called a local tailor, who dropped by within a few minutes to pick up the shirts. Within an hour, I had them back, in perfect condition.

This was our second time staying here and we love this place! Staff is very helpful, and made the effort to communicate with us, using our very limited Spanish. Trees and flowers are beautiful here. Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. We love staying in this place and know that the staff takes great pride in keeping the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and providing excellent service.

We had a wonderful Christmas week at Canal Grande Lodge! Raffael and his staff were excellent hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. The small hotel was quiet and beautifully situated.
