This property is amazing!! I would definitely stay here again. All the staffs were very friendly, courteous and attentive. They made me feel so welcomed and they all spoke English pretty well. They picked me up from the airport for about $30 U.S dollars and it was stress free. The property has an infinity pool and the view from my room of the rice field was so beautiful! They have a shuttle that runs every few hours to take you to the center of Ubud where you can walk around and eat and shop....

The Maya Ubud was incredible! Perfect for a couples getaway. The property and grounds are beautiful and the villas are quiet and very private. Even though the resort was almost full it never felt that way, the atmosphere was relaxed and luxurious the entire time. The breakfast buffet that is included in the room rate does not disappoint, it was our best meal most days. This place was impeccably clean and we'll kept. The pools were amazing and the staff was very friendly and professional. I did not eat at the restaurant so I can't vouge for that.

We are not resort people at all, but we did enjoy our stay at the Bali Beach Hotel. Great room overlooking the ocean and pool area. We also enjoyed the included breakfast and dinner at the new Spanish style one on the roof and the traditional Balinese food in the hotel. Highly recommended.

Bali with its congestion and litter isn't really all a paradise. The moment you walk into the Trans hotel that changes. This hotel really seems to "get" the customer service/satisfaction piece. Every (and I mean every) person that we encountered over our stay was gracious, helpful and genuinely happy. As you sit by the 80 meter long pool, time and stress seems to melt away into the imported sand beach. Food was excellent, free parking was much appreciated, and the shuttle to the Shopping...

We had a lovely stay at the Vira Hotel. It was in a convenient location with lovely staff and service.

Where to start. I chose this hotel for my honeymoon and I'm very happy I did. I booked the lagoon view room but when I arrived I asked to be moved to the best Lagoon room with access to the private lagoon pool and out door bed. Now what I didn't know is that they knew it was my honeymoon so in the old room they had a cake and an amazing swan made out of towels on the bed with flower pestles around it. What made me happy was when I asked to be moved to a better room, they made the same thing...

If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place. The resort is family friendly with all kinds of activities for the kids. Plus, centrally located to good bars / restaurants I think my only real issue was the size / quality of the room for the price point. I've stayed in way larger / nicer rooms for $200 a night. First time in Bali and I chose the Magani based over the proximity to the airport and spacious room. I arrived hours early but was greeted by the bell hop and escorted to the check-in counter. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. The hotel staff made us feel safe and at home, which is of number 1 importance to me. The food at Romeo's was impeccable. Wish they would have put a food menu in the rooms as well as helped us with our luggage when we were changing rooms but other than that, an extremely pleasant stay. Thank you.

We made a last minute booking for this hotel at Denpasar Airport just after we arrived and the room was ready by the time we got there. The reception had a tasty drink waiting and checked us in quickly without problem. Our room was right on the street but the super thick double layer of sliding doors made the noise from the partying and the traffic disappear. The pool was beautiful and nice. Breakfast service was tasty and had different choices of fresh pastries and hot dishes every morning....

Everything was great especially the location. Location was prime. We really enjoyed our stay at the Deluxe Pool Access Room.

This is a great hotel across the street from the airport but the airport shuttle is not always reliable. (Think of the worst traffic you have ever been; things don't work smoothly.) We walked what Google indicated would be 10 minutes to the hotel. But there is a fence around the Bali airport, following the map is complicated, and you have to walk a block on a main road with no sidewalk. I'm not saying don't do it if you have a problem with hotel pick-up, I'm saying be aware of what you are...
