The Alokke bed and breakfast is a beautiful, rustic, countryside hotel that is a very quiet escape from cities, as many travelers told us was part of the reason for their stay. The staff, including the owner, performed Olympic level acrobatics to help us in our journey. The shared kitchen and living room helped us meet people from around the continent with breakfasts including flavored yogurt, eggs and jam. We do reccommend having a rental car since it is not in a city. We would love to go back...

We traveled with an assistant dog, so we booked the big suite. It was not cheap, I had to say, yet the staffs were very warm, kind and helpful! Their efforts did make us feeling welcome.
