Really special hotel in a great location of Guimaraes. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, and cater to whatever you need. Breakfast was great. For Europe, these rooms are huge, and charmingly decorated. Pool and patio were great. We will definitely stay here again.
Great location, beautiful place, comfortable beds, tidy rooms, but what really makes this place stand out is Cesar, who is an amazing host: super friendly, helpful, and available 24/7 for anything you need. 100% recommended, will definitely come back when I visit Porto again.
The hotel is tucked away in the center of town and walking distance to shops and cafe’s. The room and bathroom were very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful with anything you need. They have some street parking available that was convenient. Breakfast is sit down style and with plenty of options. The cost was 15€ per person. Would definitely stay again.
We very much enjoyed our one night stay. Clean bedroom and bath. The building is of historic design. The exterior and interior walls are of large granite blocks. The hotel is located in the country site, it is quiet and has a very helpful and accommodating staff. We would like to go back for a longer stay.
Carlos was very helpful& gave us great restaurant recommendations& sights to see. The two rooms were great. Spotlessly Clean& we had room 1 ( the best) great new bathroom& beautiful ceilings. Room 2 had beautiful ceilings & much smaller bathroom so if your very tall ( my son 6 feet 7 inches) get bedroom 1 .

Close to historic site and restaurants. Excellent breakfast and the massage was good. Hotel bed, room, and bathroom is a good size.
The downside is you’ll need to pay for spa services daily to use the pool. Hot tub is luke warm and the steam room could use eucalyptus or something to give it a spa feeling. Would be nice if pool access didn’t require a spa service. Also cap purchase required if you didn’t bring your own.
The room and bathroom were clean. The beds and linens were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel sits in a perfect location. It is close to the parking area if you have a car. Remember to stop at the hotel first to collect the parking card for 5 euro. The historic area is walkable because this hotel is in the center. The art work throughout the hotel adds a special touch. Good amenities. The only bad thing is bathroom lighting. It is WAY to dark over mirror. The hand mirror did not light up. They need shower mats as shower is very slippery!
