"I had a wonderful one-night stay at the Grand Pacific Hotel on September 1. The location was perfect—within easy walking distance of my business meetings and downtown Suva. There were also plenty of great dining and café options at the hotel. Most of all, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I was initially in another, similarly priced, hotel in Suva that was so unpleasant I decided to move. Capricorn was such a relief - the room is spacious, bright, well layed out and the view is spectacular. It was great to have an outdoor porch and to have the opportunity to prepare simple meals. The property is safe and clean. The owner, her family and their staff are wonderful! She helped us familiarize ourselves with the area. She drove us places and always offered to help. Our stay was made easier because of staying here.
We were here for a week. We would definitely return if we were in the same area again. The host, Alexander, was pleasant and upbeat. He was easy to get along with and easy to communicate with. I loved the history, the character of this small hotel. The room was so spacious, clean with a modern twist. Quirky and a definitive gem in Suva. This hotel is rated 3 stars but I personally would rate it with the big boys, holiday inn and Grand Pacific, Five Princes Hotel is on a smaller scale but has everything to offer as the big boys.
I loved the view from the room and also the privacy. The location is central and transport is very easy to get. Staff are friendly and location is safe.
I was in Suva for one week. A friend recommended Best Western Suva Motor Inn. The hotel is close to everything and I was able to walk to downtown, the fruit market, the museum, everywhere I wanted to go. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was the friendliest!! I would definitely stay there again!
Absolutely gorgeous natural setting, with plenty of amenities and close enough to Suva for shopping or other big-city activities there. Plus the rates are more than reasonable, in fact an incredible deal.
