"Every single person on the staff was amazing - too many to list! Thank You All!!
Loved everything about this place!
Enjoyed the staff, the views, the spa, the pool, the shore, the kayaks, the boating, the happy hour, and the food!"
"Staff was so friendly and fun to talk to, room was super cute Spanish themed, and the entire resort was super well put together and fun to explore! The food in their little restaurant was awesome as well. Great views and nice relaxing pool and private beach. Highly recommend this place if you’re traveling to Coron! "
"Fantastic villa with an incredible view of the bay, very helpful host/concierge services and great restaurant options (nearby or over the bay via convenient boat options). Would highly recommend."
"Loved our stay. Thank you Jenny, Judy and their families for taking care of us. Very peaceful spot, basic but comfortable, great food and excellent access to dive sites and the northern side of the island. This is an extremely quiet part of Basuanga Island, so be prepared with cash and a good book. "
"We had a wonderful stay at this property. All the staff are very accommodating and respectful. You can go fishing on this property and let them cook it for you for a little fee , just make sure bring your own gear for fishing. Thank you guys for making our stay really good."
"The staff are very accomodating and helpful. The room for family is very cozy, two single beds and 1 king size bed were perfect for us. The room price is very reasonable. I highly recommend it."
"Incredible stay at BacuaBay, we stayed in the presidential suite with a family of 5 (2 adults 3 teenagers) and it was immaculate, very roomy, to spread out and very comfortable.
Clean great bathrooms and pool is awesome and huge!
The gardens are beautiful with jetty and a bar on the jetty, we loved our stay here.
Staff could not be more helpful and friendl."
"The first room was very dirty, and the bed sheets were wet and.. Sticky?...
The second room was *fine*, but still the walls and all surfaces were very dirty. "

We loved this resort! The views are fantastic! Each unit has a terrace for sitting and enjoying the views. They also have made several other places with comfortable chairs and hammocks to sit and enjoy the time. All sorts of water sports are available: kayaks, snorkeling, island hopping, and of course diving! We are not divers but we loved everything else. I went out snorkeling right in front of the resort, straight from our lounge chair. It was gorgeous. Everything we did was gorgeous! ...
Be prepared for “roughing it” to a degree. No a/c, cold water shower, but magical surroundings in spectacular setting, All meals provided. Happy atmosphere and happy guests there to experience the raw beauty. Monkeys in the trees add something extra to enjoy
The resort met our expectations in its beauty, luxury, and service. The setting is stunning with reefs off their beaches accessible by just swimming with a mask and snorkel(free!). It is on an isolated island 40 minute boat ride from Coron town proper. The food is awesome, but not all the restaurants are available everyday. The breakfast buffet(included) is great with enough Pilipino food to keep natives happy!
The prices are at luxury levels but reasonable in terms of US dollars. Airport...
This place is an absolute gem! Everything is so beautifully designed and well laid out with stunning views over the infinity pool and the islands beyond. Mel was a fantastic host who took care of so many of our different changing needs. She helped organize a private boat tour that took us to some of the most magical places in the area.I would highly recommend this place to any and all travelers who wishes to see the magic of Coron & Busuanga.
I was expecting "white sand beaches and clear warm waters" as seen in the ads so I paid the price for a "Beach Front Room' only to find out that there is no white sand beach - only mud and muddy waters! We found out later that the islands with beautiful white beaches, clear waters and lagoons can only be reached by boat at a very pricey cost - $120-150 per person depending on your island destination. The Hotel is in an isolated area 1-hour away from the nearest town and as a consequence you pay...
This is a great resort with great views- easily a place you can stay at for days. The villas are scattered and very private, and the vegetation is thick and lush- plenty of flowers. The staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive and will go out of their way to make sure you're happy. I forgot my shoes after a boating trip, but couldn't remember if I had left it at the bus terminal or on the bus itself. The staff did the detective work by themselves, and the shoes were waiting for me,...
I have to start off by saying that staying at Paolyn Houseboat was a leap of faith for myself, my wife, and our 3 children. To be isolated in a lagoon next to an island with no degree of infrastructure, caused us some level of uncertainty. BUT OMG, HOW WRONG WE WERE! Staying here offers absolute peace, serenity, and tranquility that could only be described as lifechanging. Kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkeling gear were included, which means that anytime from dusk til dawn was a perfect time to...
One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed at. Staff makes you feel like you own the island and they all work for you. Try to get a VIP Villa or beach Villa. Highly recommend for romantic get away. Sunsets are spectacular. We had dinner on the beach almost every evening, unforgettable time here. I love you guys.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. The place is meticulously clean. It is very quiet, and everything is within walking distance. Airport transportation was smooth and arranged by the hotel staff. Port is 5 min walk away to hire a boat to go to magical islands within 20-30 minutes for snorkeling, swimming or seeing the rock formation and amazing nature. We would be repeating our visit here!
It’s a beautiful hotel with stellar management and staff. With each day we stayed there, we became more enchanted with the place. I can’t stress this part enough that the service, attentiveness was stellar. It’s perhaps the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. I had my wife reality check this statement to make sure that I wasn’t exaggerating and making fair comparisons to other great hotels. I have stayed at hotels with incredible facilities such as one at Lake Como, Italy that was...
Our stay at Bacau Bay was wonderful! The property was beautiful with great facilities and the staff were so nice and helpful. We spent an entire afternoon relaxing in their beautiful pool and ordering poolside food and drinks. It’s also a short tuktuk ride into town, which the hotel staff were easily able to help call for us. We only stayed one night but could have easily spent many more there.
Great staff! I decided to try out some hostels for this solo travel trip and I’ve come to the conclusion hostels aren’t really for me, but I would definitely stay at The Outpost again because of the staff.
If you enjoy the hostels experience or traveling in a budget, then definitely hit up The Outpost.
Easy tricycle ride into town for dinner at Lobster King or other local Coron restaurants. Great tour packages for island hopping book all at front desk. Nice pools. Close to docks and town. Easy shuttle from airport. Good breakfast buffet every morning. Overall a good 4 night stay for the price. They have a spa for massage at night.
We spent 5 nights here in April …. WOW! Peaceful, stunning pool, great variety of western and Filipino meals. Bedroom had everything we needed … great shower, comfy bed, lovely balcony over looking the pool. Very courteous staff and a huge shout-out to Dave the bartender for going above and beyond every night we sat there. Amdo the GM was polite and caring and checked on us almost everyday. Location is close enough to town for us to do the various day trips, dinners and shopping we wanted to do…...
Stayed for three nights and had an EXCELLENT experience. Relieved to have booked the Bayview room, especially now after reading some of the negative reviews regarding the rooms facing the back of the hotel. Keep in mind it’s a small town, so obviously there are going to be roosters like the norm in the Philippines. Anyway, to keep it short, for the prices you’re gonna be paying for this hotel, just take the plunge and book the Bayview room. It’s worth waking up to. We were well taken care of and...
