Some of staff was bilingual, and ready to assist us at all times during the day and night. The other staff such as security guards were attentive and also ready to assist with whatever was needed. The room very clean, the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast very good and we ate dinner in the restaurant one night. It was delicious and the staff was also very kind and attentive. This hotel was very convenient to shopping, the subway and the bus station. Highly recommend.
I had a wonderful 3 night stay here. It was soo quiet and peaceful. Every afternoon I would open the window and enjoy the sun and nice breeze. The bed was very comfortable and great hot shower. The room was big and clean and the breakfast nice. Staff was excellent. I would stay here again and again! Thanks so much!
Situated on an unremarkable street, Hotel Boutique Matildas stands out as a beautifully renovated and architecturally important reminder of an elegant and bygone era. For my wife and I, it was great to see wonderfully carved wooden banisters, ultra high ceilings having intricate crown moldings. Clean, classic hotel with great service. Very convenient to central city sights, but also on the fringe of a sketchy neighborhood. Unfortunately the locals choose to express their selves with lots of graffiti along the streets, which distracts from the charm of the hotel and area.
The Ismael hotel is conveniently located next to the park and a short walk to the submay station.
The staff of this hotel are genuine people friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. It was my first trip to Santiago and I arrived at the Ismael without any idea of where to start or what to see. Seems like there are really two different hotels here. One (61?) is more basic and the other (43?) is much nicer. The one we stayed in was really nice. Perfect for our family who likes space (two separate bedrooms plus a small living area and kitchen). The neighborhood was very cool and safe. Close to the subway and only a few blocks from a grocery store.
The people working there was polite, helpful, and spoke some english.
