We wanted a hotel near the airport for our last day in Cartagena. We loved Summer hotel! It's across from the beach and the pool is small but enough for a quick dip to cool down. The room is comfortable and modern. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Wished we could've stayed a few more days. The fact is that I missed my flight on Monday January 13th, 2024 and couldn’t make it to this hotel until Tuesday, I called that Monday to advise of the issue and was given 3/4 of what I spent for that Monday in credit to use at the rooftop bar… That is excellent customer service! Amazing trip & stay. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Little things: they should put more toilet paper in the room so we don’t have to call multiple times for more. Napkins or paper towels in kitchen would be nice and maybe some bottled water.

The hotel is in a great location. Near all restaurants and attractions. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. The only issue is that the near by discos and bar have music so loud to 5:00am, Its hard to sleep. Otherwise, , Excellent!
It is a small, beautiful, colonial property with wonderful staff (front desk, doormen, cleaners, waiters). Everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome and safe. The bfast was very good, the coffee strong (a french press, no espresso), and the restaurant has a good ceviche. Hotel was very nice and located in the middle of it all. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Very charming inside and outside, keeping the charming decor of the local streets. All the staff was so nice and friendly, we felt like the only people there. I think the small size makes it more personal.
As a first time to Columbia traveler safety was a huge concern, I never felt more safe than when I was here.

My boyfriend and I came here for two nights during the Christmas holiday. It’s an amazing place with beautiful facilities, nice lodging and helpful staff. We stayed in once of the huts which had an outdoor shower and also AC (much appreciated in Cartagena). We were assigned a table/daybed by the beach which was amazing (these are usually reserved for groups of 6). We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the sea. Food and drinks were reasonably priced, more so than anticipated, and drinks were great....
