The hotel room was huuuuge compared to other hotels- we even had a little balcony! The washing machine in the unit helped SO much. It was a bit difficult to get from the station to the hotel with large bags because there isn’t an exit with an escalator/elevator that we could find but it’s completely doable. The staff let us wait in a private lounge with water and vending machines until it was time for check in which was amazing!

The Narita Airport limosine bus stops directly at this hotel, so it's very convenient if you don't want to carry a bunch of luggage on the shinkansen/local trains. There's a FamilyMart in a section of the building, on the second floor. The nearest metro station is the Akasaka-mitsuke station, and use the D exit (the yellow blocks on Google Maps). The location made it simple for us to travel around Tokyo with easy. The property was welcoming and the breakfast was excellent!

For the price it's great. It's centrally located, and room service daily. Kinda small in western standards but then again it's a repeating story in Tokyo. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience and the staff was polite and helpful.

I always stay at Sotetsu Fresa Takadanobaba whenever I'm in Tokyo, and for good reason. The room was perfect for my son and I and we really love the view.

Room was small but clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and efficient. Hotel was slightly out of the hustle and bustle which provided a needed respite from the craziness of Shinjuku - though it was an easy walk to get to nightlife options. Definitely recommend the hotel - it was relatively inexpensive as well.

Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo. Love this place and we will stay here again in the future. Room was amazing for three people with 3 single beds, fresh linen-and robe daily. Free breakfast with delicious pastries included. I love this hotel. Just spent 2 and a half weeks here - my third visit to Tokyo and I've stayed at this hotel each time because it was ideal for me. Here's why: 1) the location is good and quite ideal if you're an LGBT traveler (it's not advertised as such but its a very welcoming hotel to LGBT guests) and want to be close to thw nightlife in Shinjuku Nichome (it's a 10 minute walk away). The rooms were small but it was definitely well kept. The amenities where provided everyday. The staff were so helpful. They even assisted ha with forwarding our luggage to our next hotel.

We stayed at the four beds room for a few days in May 2023. Very pleasant stay. The room is quite larger comparing with other hotels we stayed. The night was quiet, can have a very good sleep. The breakfast is the best. We enjoyed it everyday. Definitely we stay here again if we visit Tokyo in the future.

Super clean property, staff was helpful and friendly, perfect location in Tokyo close to several tourist areas, safe location with restaurants and stores immediately next to it. Would definitely stay there again, highly recommended!

La'gent Hotel was fantastic value for the price. Our room was small, of course, but each bed had USB charging, power outlets, and a reading light right next to them. There's a single nightstand between the two beds, but the headboards have a ledge which makes it very convenient to store anything you want to keep within arms reach at night. Great hotel! Train right infront of the entrance of hotel which gets you everywhere you wanna go. 711 on the same block, AC works amazing for those very hot days, close to Tokyo station if your coming or leaving with luggage.

This was a fantastic hotel! The location was incredible - it is walking distance to the Yamanote train line which connects you to other main attractions in Tokyo. There is also tons of great restaurants and shops in the area as well and a convenience store in the heart of the lobby making it easy to grab food, drinks or other supplies.
