Our cabin by the water was brand new. Had a separate bedroom and a small kitchen. And the hot tub worked great.

The location was amazing - nestled in a cute and walkable town, right on the water and next to a delicious restaurant with outdoor seating on the beach. The house itself was spacious and well maintained. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the cafe owned by the same people. Highly recommend!

Great place, far away from everything, so buy from a store what you want because no grocery store in radius of 50-60 km. Because it is distant from lights we managed to see the Northern lights for the first time there :)

The most friendly and helpful hotel staff we've ever met. The hotel is located in a beautiful valley that overlooks the hills and the sunset. The outdoor hot bath was an amazing experience and wonderful amenity. Breakfast was delicious as well. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Rooms are in small wooden cabins, some of them with an excellent view on the waterfalls. Nice restaurant with good breakfast.

A wonderful property. It's not a hotel, so if you're expecting something luxurious, this isn't it! The location is great, and the owners have developed cute walking trails about troll-related folklore. There's a shared kitchen available, and the bathrooms are in a building less than a minute walk from the pods. It's northern Europe, so the showers are communal. Natural hot tubs are open in the evening, and there's a decent (and relatively cheap!) restaurant on site with a sunroom for taking...

We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark. Just wanted to say the staff here made our trip memorable. The breakfast was fantastic. Prior to arriving I let the staff know we would be arriving early due to a early flight and needed to freshen up due to me proposing. They made the accommodation. What a charming hotel! Lots of quirky decorations throughout the hotel and in rooms. The staff were absolutely lovely- happy to help with any and all questions. We had a loft room, which was small but more than sufficient, with a breathtaking view of the fjord. We made use of the two hot-spring fed hot tubs available to guests as well. I booked at the last minute and they absolutely communicated every little detail so that when I arrived after midnight, I knew exactly what to do. I didn’t wake anybody and it made it so easy. It was so comfortable and in a beautiful location. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. I will definitely go back. The kitchen was well appointed there’s a little coffee bar on the first floor and then a beautiful dining room and kitchen on the second floor very very comfortable.
