The room had everything we needed and was clean. The hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were pleasant. The only complaint was the noise. Outside the window it sounded like loud construction all night long. Very disturbing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and thought it was an excellent location, and close to the car ferry dock to leave for the South Island in the AM.

I was born and raised in Wellington but haven’t lived there in 22 years. I know the city well and perhaps I’m biased because I grew up a few blocks away. However, I cannot stress this enough, this hotel is in the best location. It is a true gem among chain-affiliated hotels with all the charm of an operating room. The interiors are beautiful: industrial manor-loft vibes. High ceilings, antique furniture mixed with modern pieces, dark green tiled bathrooms, and an extremely comfortable...

Close to museum and other attractions. Room is small but very well organized No view from our room but that didn’t matter. We had a nice stay

I don’t know what to say, really, as words would be impossible to convey the charm, beauty, and real friendliness of the proprietors! We were overnighting for the inter island ferry leaving Picton so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer. The accommodations were first rate and literally everything that was needed was provided plus more. If we had lacked anything, our hosts would have gladly provided it. This is my 5th stay at Quest Wgtn. The location is amazing, the place cannot be beat for that. I will say next time I will request to stay on a lower floor, as this time I was on the 8th floor and the furniture desperately needed sanding and re-varnishing. I still love this place, its safe, clean, and has the best location in town.

Very convenient to airport but difficult to walk at night if you haven’t done it before.

An elevator would be helpful if you have heavy luggage.

Clean room and very comfortable bed. Great location, easy to walk down to restaurants, stores and Mount Victoria Park. Decent amount of onsite parking too. Kitchenette had everything you would need.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Richmond Guest House. I thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with John. The Guest House has a great location and one can walk to many things in Wellington. If I am ever fortunate enough to go back to Wellington I know exactly where I will be staying, it will be the Richmond Guest House. I read several negative reviews and I just did not understand them because my experience there was very positive and would absolutely recommend it to other people.

Management made transitions easy. Warm, jospitable, friendly and accomodating. Very well maintained Boulcott Suites. An upgrade!
