The location of The Intrepid is superb, as is its undoubted style. We were a little unlucky to get one of the coldest nights of the year when we stayed there and, with the high ceilings, the heating struggled to cope. The staff were super helpful though. They were apologetic, brought in another heater and outlined that they were working on plans to upgrade the heatpumps so it wouldn’t be a problem in the future. Some other things were a little tired too but we’d certainly stay there again, rather than some of the bland offerings out there.
