We drove until we were afraid hotels were going to close and this was closest.
No plan except to geocache nearby and drive on in morning.
But if we were horse people, this was perfectly situated in pleasant area with several geographical beauties to ride to/by.
Staff was awesome, but we saw them for only ten minutes. People must got to bed early or we were out of horse season, but felt we had the hotel and the entire plain to ourselves.

Room was clean and tidy - don’t think it had a TV but I was jet lagged and wanted to sleep anyway! Staff were all friendly and helpful. There were two cute and friendly pups roaming around to greet guests as well.
We absolutely loved staying here. The location of the house was perfect for driving the Golden Circle. And we loved sitting in the hot tub looking for Northern Lights and star gazing. Also loved all of the oversized windows and mountain backdrop. Home and beds were warm and comfy! Perfect for our family! We wish we could stayed longer. Thank you so much! God bless!
The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.
Could not recommend this place highly enough. The check in was quick and the front desk attendant walked me to my room. The rooms all had a view of the river that runs behind the hotel and the mountain that overlooks it. Dinner at the restaurant was great. And the outdoor hot tub was a great place to relax and enjoy the northern lights
My wife and I just finished up a November vacation in Iceland. We plan to do another vacation to Iceland again in summertime so we can drive the Ring Road route. When we come back, we're already looking forward to staying at this hotel again -- the staff mostly consists of the owners, and they take pride in seeing that their services and quality are of a high standard, while yet at very reasonable prices.
