Marathon Beach Hotel was wonderful! They have done a lovely job renovating and old standard into a stylish, modern and welcoming shelter in the current Greek storm. The design of the renovation is fresh and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. And I can't forget the large, lovely (salt water❤️❤️❤️) pool! Great hotel, well worth the money. This is one of the prettiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It was very modern and the bed was incredibly comfiterable. The staff was really nice, the only reason I rated them lower than perfect was because a staff member randomly came in my room around 11pm one night, it scared the crap out of me.
We stayed 3 nights and we Really enjoyed staying there with the kids and they really loved it. The staff was helpful and always polite. The rooms where big with a good size balcony that you could enjoy the views. If you like walking just 15-20 walking from the hotel there is Eretria town and has everything you need from restaurants coffee and some shopping. We will definitely go back.
This hotel features the amazing Coco-Mat bedding. The beds are the most most comfortable you will find anywhere! The hotel is very stylish. I've stayed at many hotels in Athens. This one is a bit out of the way, but but the overall quality, and the value for money is way above many of the hotels closer to the center of Athens.
