The host was awesome. We stayed here the first part of our journey and there was a huge storm where we were inside a lot. The room was a comfortable little apartment with a kitchenette. The host let us know where in town we could eat and get snacks. The town was really cute once the storm blew over. Highly recommend.

The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. They were well worth the hikes up the hill. The staff were so helpful and professional. The front desk staff were so friendly and aided in some suggestions on todo. They also were very gracious in offering rides back up to your room if you didn’t want to walk. Margret runs a nice B&B. On the beach, half way up the Corimandel Peninsula. Wonderful breakfast spread. Comfortable bed and wonderful sunsets.

Just stay here. It’s perfectly kiwi. Right by the beach, laid-back, friendly staff and altogether tranquil. Great central location for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula.

Great property on the ocean with lovely views, nice outdoors bar/restaurant food court kind of set up with outdoor fireplace to sit by, and very convenient to the main events - Hot Water beach where you can literally dig a hole in the sand (all the hotels provide shovels), that fills with hot geothermal water and creates your own shallow hot tub (or just use one someone else dug when they leave as we did!), and Cathedral Cove. The ocean views from our room which was roomy and comfy were stunning...

The manager was very helpful to us. And it was the best bed we have had in our travels here.

Excellent rooms and staff

Bathroom shower had hair caught in the lip of the shower.

For once the pictures exactly reflected the rooms/view - it was so great to wake up and be able to look out at the ocean! The staff were excellent and made great dinner recommendations. Room had great amenities provided (tea/coffee/toiletries) and had updated furnishings. Would definitely recommend!

Parking was easy. They asked if I wanted a big bed, as it was just me I said no, but a twin bed ended up being too small. When they ask if you want a big bed, say yes.

I really did enjoy my stay at this hotel. It was close to the beach, the staff was so helpful, and the room was awesome. I have no complains at all. I definitely recommend anyone to stay at this place.

Beautiful. The watergardens are so peaceful and the longer walk to the waterfall for swimming was worth the climb. Our " house" was beautifully decorated and breakfast was great with all we could want. A hidden gem well worth the trip.
