The hotel was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful in consierge matters. The neighborhood is rather calm but still has really good food in walking distance. While it has 3 great on-site restaurants, one drawback would be the volume of level of the music played in the bar late into the night, which is fine if your room is on the other side (and they do provide earplugs) but might be an issue in a room closer to the sound.

On our last night, our flight was at night and they securely stored our luggage while we walked around for the day until it was time to head to the airport. Casa Antonieta was incredible! If you have the chance to stay here, you should without question. The staff here was so attentive and helpful with arrangements and recommendations. Their response time to emails was some times nearly instantaneous and everything they recommended was top notch. The room was spacious and relaxing, and had a shower with great water pressure. We had a wonderful stay and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, an eight-block area around the hotel had lost power majority of the day. The team handled the situation amazing hospitality despite not being able to control the power situation: they treated us to a tlayuda (like a Mexican pizza and quesadilla combined) and welcome drink, carried our bags upstairs, and the bar manager even arranged a mezcal tasting.
