This was a last minute booking for us as the original hotel we had was very disappointing. However Hampton by Hilton absolutely saved what started off as a disastrous Gaziantep trip.
Staff is nice and friendly. Rooms are decently sized. Hotel is nice and clean as well as centrally located to many restaurants and Baklava bakeries.
If you are looking for more of a modern hotel vibe and not the traditional "han" vibe from your Gaziantep trip, I would definitely recommend Hampton by Hilton.
This place was unassuming. It had great reviews so we went for it and now we see why. The staff were soooo wonderful, kind & generous. The bedrooms (3) were clean, comfortable and temp controlled. The area is only a short walk to the busy markets, streets and restaurants. The area was quiet and surrounded by mostly families.
The family that runs this hotel are the kindest people you will ever meet. I had some health problems during my stay here, and they went above and beyond to make sure I got the medical attention I needed. As a female who was alone in a foreign country, it was very comforting to know someone was watching out for me. The hotel itself is also nice and in a safe area. It is within walking distance to various shopping areas. The rooms were charming and clean. I would definitely stay here again.
The family and staff who manage Ali Bey Konagi are most hospitable, lovely people whose only wish is to make your stay a most comfortable and memorable experience. Many things to enjoy: everthing is clean and fresh, the breakfast is an amazing spread of jams, cheeses, olives, breads, the trees and birds in the courtyard, in fact the enclosure offers a calm and cool respite from the bustling markets outside. Perfect location as well. We highly recommend Ali Bey Konagi!
