I enjoyed my stay at Berry Berry. I was hesitant to book when I saw the graffiti on Google Maps, but there is graffiti everywhere and it’s not an indicator of the neighborhood. The neighborhood was nice and central to many sites. I felt safe walking alone in the evening. It was about 1 mile from bus station and close to square and other sites. There were 2 small grocery stores close by and lots of quick bites places to grab lunch or dinner to go. I didn’t want to be a pain, so I didn’t ask...

Comfortable hotel within walking distance of Zagreb’s city center’s sights and easy access to/from the airport. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area versus the noisier, more touristy areas. The service was attentive and quick. Property is fairly new and is well taken care of. I didn’t eat at the hotel, so I can’t speak to the quality or value for money of the food. However, breakfast for €22 / person seemed steep relative to the prices in the area.
