First off: The staff was phenomenal! From the front desk, to the restaurant (thanks for preparing my complimentary Tiramisu at 10:45pm!), to the cleaning crew, they were all amazing. The hotel has the best location given that is is right on the Markplatz. Easy walk to explore the town. Added bonus is the parking onsite for 10 Euros a day. This is my 16th trip to Germany. The Torfhaus Resort rates as one of the best experiences that I have ever had. The location is perfect for hiking, biking, sightseeing or just relaxing.
