Great place to stay in Goslar

Really nice and beautiful hotel, placed in the centre of Goslar but yet calm after 9pm. Great atmosphere, friendly and serviceminded staff, good breakfast, excellent restaurant, and tasty cocktails. We can definitely recommend a stay there.

We enjoyed our junior suite "Hafenboden" very much. Spacious and cozy, with a very nice 2-person bathtub. Also very quiet, a part from the church bell - but that could almost be silenced by closing all windows. The hotel and the surrounding Altstadt is beautiful - very nice to be in. And nice restaurants in the area - didn't try the hotels restuarant, though. Breakfast at the hotel was a bit disappointing. Looked good at first, but as a northener/Dane especially sections bread and chesse were very disappointing. Also section with sweets/cakes had to little to offer. But as a whole we had a very pleasant stay in Goslar. We might return to the town, but would probably try a different hotel next time, because of the breakfast

Hotel was beautiful in a very central location. I was updated to a better room when I checked in which was a lovely gesture. Staff were very pleasant and very professional I would have no hesitations staying here again.

Charming hotel, wonderful location

We had a pleasant time in this charming hotel. Excellent service, amazing breakfast, easy parking and a playground for our toddler. The only thing I would complain about is that the hotel has a bar with an outdoor area directly under some rooms. We got one of these rooms, and while the noise was not extreme, you could still hear people talking and smell cigarette smoke. We had our windows wide open (warm summer night) and found it a bit unpleasant. I think the hotel needs to re-think this layout or establish a non-smoking policy. Everything else was top-notch and would definitely return.

Godt sted uden stor service

The room was smaller than we expected and the welcome in the reception was not welcoming and helpful. Goslar is an old town with small streets and simulator old hotelbuldings and therefore it would be good if the staff had followed us to the room as it was difficult to find. The cleaning was standard. No access to a fridge and no air conditioning.

Das Hotel war ok, das Frühstück war gut - wir fanden aber das Preisleistungsverhältnis ehrlichgesagt nicht gut und der Hauptkritikpunkt ist für uns das Ambiente der Zimmer. Zumindest unser Zimmer war einfach nicht besonders schön eingerichtet, sowie ich es von einem ausgewiesenen Romantikhotel und zu dem Preis erwarten würde. Das Restaurant im Haus ist sehr gut und auch viel stilvoller als die Zimmer.

Litet rum men helt ok. Hotellet bestod av flera byggnader, vissa delar många trappor. Bra frukost. Man betalar för läget som var toppen,väldigt centralt och fina utrymmen. Tveksamt om det var prisvärt. 20€ för p-plats och taxa tillkom.
