"The central location makes up for the lack of empathy shown by the staff. They seem to be there under duress, certainly not to help guests. The bell boy was excellent and very helpful though. The parking is some way but if you have your key, you can use the back door which saves a few minutes. Breakfast is good and in an excellent location but the hotel lets itself down by the staff."

"The bar and breakfast staff were very nice. On arrival, we asked to change rooms as the family room allocated was next to the air conditioning units which were very noisy when you had the windows open. There was also a slip where all the sea gulls were fighting over the contents - so very noisy. Reception staff kindly moved us to a smaller room which was still sizeable and much quieter for getting a good night’s sleep. Kids loved the lake out the back and was nice to have a drink outside overlooking the water. We would return as hotel had a nice feel to it. Our kids had a proper bed to sleep in rather than a futon style chair (which often happens in family rooms) and we enjoyed the breakfast."

"The food in the Main Hotel was amazing. We stayed in the castle and the room was big and spacious. Check in time is very late. The Castle unless in restaurant times there was nowhere like a simple shop to be able to get a simple drink without having to go over to the main Resort."
