The Asperion is a lovely hotel - beautifully decorated with good beds and all necessary amenities including beautiful towels. I think it is best suited to business travellers rather than visitors to the area. There were no maps or brochures describing nearby attractions. Their recommended taxi was a limousine service - very expensive - as was the breakfast offered. It is a relatively short walk from the train station but it is up a fairly steep hill so not suitable for older folk or those with heavy cases. The staff were mostly helpful and the location is good for shopping and eateries.

Lovely staff, quiet location, very good breakfast (half off if you book directly with the hotel). The shower heat and power were absolutely divine! The room had everything I needed. I was surprised for a 4 star hotel not to have any toiletries provided (but no worries, I brought my own) and the bathroom ceiling was not in excellent shape (flaking paint and some mildew). Comfy bed. Wish I could've backed a window for some fresh air, but I'm sure it's a security issue with the room being right facing the road. Walkable to the station and town and there's a bus stop out front as well.

Overall an excellent stay. The room was a smaller than the picture suggested and there was quite a bit of noise from the main road. However, it had all of the basic necessities, it was clean and it was comfortable. The bathroom although separate (although not shared), was also clean and convenient. The staff were also very friendly and accomodating.

We had a lovely experience at the Asperion,the staff were really friendly and helpful, they let me store my case for the day, after I checked out. The room was so nice, clean and very comfortable, breakfast was fresh and delicious, I would definitely recommend! So much better than Premier Inn, Holiday Inn or Travelodge! Would definitely stay again.
