Our checkin was good! Room was lovely and spacious. Bathroom was good. Slept well on the nice big bed. Breakfast was very good and Mila our server was friendly, kind and welcoming!! Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.

Lovely hotel with an intimate, boutique vibe. All meals were exceptional. Convenient to the many walks in the Malvern Hills. Highly recommended.

Our expectations weren’t high because this hotel was so reasonably priced, but The Tewkesbury Lodge was a pleasant surprise—the most beautiful place, with spacious rooms, helpful, friendly staff and delicious food, both at breakfast and at night. We constantly marveled at the views and the beautiful gardens, as well as the perfectly maintained golf course. Only downside was no elevators and no air conditioning, so just fix that by asking for a ground floor room and a fan. Definitely will return....

I’ve now stayed at this hotel a few times. It is a very nice comfortable hotel convenient for my needs. Restaurant and staff very pleasant. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Beautiful property and setting! It was an easy walk to restaurants, theater and gardens. The staff was very accommodating.

What an amazing stay. The staff was absolutely wonderful. A hidden gem in the midlands. Was back for the first time in 40 years and Chequers made it a memorable one for sure!!! They are very hands on. I stayed in london at a marriot hotel after we left Fladbury and the service wasn’t even close. And I paid 4 times the amount in london. Cheers to Chequers!!!

Comfortable, clean and the incredible view from the Malvern Hills across the Severn Valley.

I had no idea you had to pay too use the swimming pool and the spa £10 pp that’s per day omg ,

This is an old coaching inn in a small country town with independent shopping along the high street , which is where the hotel is located . Parking is at the rear of the hotel easily accessed from the high street . Our room ( the Broadway Suite ) was a good size with a stand alone bath tub and separate shower and was well heated . Breakfast was good with a nice choice and we had dinner there on two of our three nights , which speaks well to the quality of the food . Last but by no means least...

Excellent restaurant - a chef who ensures every part of your dish is tasty and wholesome. Even breakfast was good. I had a cheap room but it was still a good size and the bathroom was a proper size, not a closet conversion as you often see in old houses. I only booked the hotel on a whim and was quite pleased. Oh, and the view is amazing. Territorial view for miles, over the tops of the forest and gardens on the hillside. The driveway is narrow and the parking a little crowded, but...
