Stunning hotel that used to be a convent & has been beautifully preserved. Loved that we were given a map at check in & invited to look around. We stayed in a suite which was roomy & comfortable. Breakfast excellent. We stayed midweek & it was very quiet. The rooms were warm, great curtains to block out the cold & a lovely warm bathroom & shower. Plenty of parking & beautiful grounds. Very convenient for visiting Malvern & the Morgan Factory which was why we were there.

Different room this time #209 so little smaller but nicer outlook over the to the hills. Lovely to walk around the cloisters again and this time get to top of tower with clear blue skies. Was with partner this time and she loved everything, the staff, George’s bar the Refectory restaurant and wants to come again!

Staff were so lovely, from check in, bar staff and at check out. A credit to the hotel to have such lovely staff! The room was spotlessly clean, and had everything that we needed, however, windows were tiny and not able to be opened. So slightly disappointing. Overall a good stay, and would d definately return ☺️

Stanbrook Abbey Hotel is amazing in all respects. It’s historical and very attractive set in extensive grounds. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I only had one meal in the hotel and it was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, it’s great.

The hotel setting is lovely and full of character. Our superior room was spacious but unfortunately no fridge in the room and there was nowhere to hang coats or dresses. The big let down was the food. We ate at George’s bar on the first night. The food took 40 mins to arrive and it was cold and one meal was inedible. Even when it was returned to the kitchen the replacement meal was no better. The staff, although very pleasant, didn’t seem to know what to do. Tables were left uncleared and after 30 mins we had to ask for glasses and empty plates to be taken away. Breakfast was also a disappointment. Poor, weak coffee and limited choice, the only cooked option offered to us was full English breakfast, which is not to my taste. Again, table clearing only happened when we asked staff to do so. This is not my usual experience of the service of this group of hotels which added to the disappointment.

The hotel was lovely. We had a comfortable stay. The only disappointment was that we were told we couldn’t dine in the refectory as it was closed only to later find out another family had dined in there. We could order from the refectory menu in the bar but this was not part of the experience we hoped for and were to be charged the same price. It was just disappointing as it was my partners birthday. Otherwise we loved the hotel

Spacious accomodation with history and great feel. During the week you order breakfast from the Kitchen. On busy days (sunday) the breakfast is all laid out for a self help arrangement. Great Basement with games area. Pool, Snooker, Board games. Great area to walk to and enjoy a drink with friends.
