"This is a beautiful retreat. Each cabin has been lovingly hand-carved and decorated with charm. This place is so well-made; it's just a joy to be here. The details are wonderful. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is big. The living room is comfortable. Both bedrooms are welcoming and comfortable. The shower has great water pressure. (If you use conditioner, be sure to bring your own.) We were so relaxed. We enjoyed wandering around. There are hiking paths up the hill. The resort is surrounded by a state park, so this is a quiet area with beauty all around. The sheep are fun; each one has so much personality. We were very happy here. It's just a 15 minute drive to Brattleboro. We will be back. I would love to host a party or a contra dance here. This banquet hall is perfect for live music and dancing."

"We arrived around 8:30 pm and there was nobody at the front desk. We rang the bell and called front desk only to hear it ring and ring. The lady finally came back about 15 minutes later. Not acceptable and very dissapointing"

"The staff are great and very helpful, breakfast are good as well considering the amount paid for the hotel accomodation. My son loves the heated pool and location are great. The only thing I wish they changed would be the shampoo and conditioner they provide are still the little one time use. I have longer hair which isnt enough for us to even share but overall its a great hotel."

"Well, it was horrible, and I will never go again. You got kids screaming through the hallways at night while I'm trying to sleep. Parking was horrible for a handicap veteran. there was only 4 handicapped spaces. I had to park at the furthest spot of the parking lot. Half your gym equipment is broken and needs to be replaced."
