Loved everything about our stay except that the bathroom was very small - hard to even dry off after a shower -- the space in the room was so tight. Parking was also challenging. Otherwise, lovely place with very pleasant staff. We were there during a heat wave, and a very nice staff person rounded up a fan for us. After a busy week exploring Scotland, my boyfriend and I decided to make a stop for a couple of day in the quiet town of Windermere to get some rest and relaxation before continuing onto our busy adventures down in London. Jericho was just what we needed. The entire place was beautifully decorated and very very well kept. Our room was so cozy (but spacious) and luxurious--I probably could have just moved in. We were very satisfied with our stay at Bowness Guest House. After a long, rainy day of exploring, this was the perfect cozy spot to warm up and recharge. Our room was well furnished and overlooked the beautiful courtyard. The location was great, as we were able to park in the neighborhood and walk down to the waterside within 10 minutes. The host is also kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!
I only stayed for one night and therefore didn't have time to explore the surroundings fully. However, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the breakfast had everyyhing and more you could expect . The location is excellent and I would certainly consider using it as a base for any furture planned visits in and around the Keswick area.

I enjoyed my stay at Norcroft Guest House. The staff members are kind. I was able to check-in early and was so grateful for that. I was offered a slice of lemon cake on arrival (delicious!) and offered fruit to take on my last morning when I wasn't going to be there for breakfast.
