Beautiful hotel. The blonde lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. The room was lovely and clean with an amazing view of the lake. The service was brilliant Jack and George were very welcoming and friendly they made sure we had everything we needed. The spa was amazing! We can’t wait to come back and we will look forward to see it when then renovation is complete!

The staff were very kind and helpful, the hotel is in a nice location, a taxi or car ride from town, has a bar and you can sit outside over looking the lake with an amazing view. The hot tub in the room was so relaxing and again with lovely views. Would stay again 😁

When we checked-in we was given a upgrade. We booked a double with a view, our upgrade was a king with a view and a outside terrace, we also had a bath with jets ( jacuzzi) which was lovely. the room was fairly clean, bed was nice and big.. all the staff was very friendly & helpful, we used the spa which was very nice.

Adam on reception was the best, nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was first class. The hot tub on the balcony helped to make this a 5 star visit and if that is was not enough you can pop down to the swimming pool.

The hotel was great, and the hot tub in the room was perfect. We stayed at a time when the outdoor spa was being renovated so the indoor spa was full, but the hot tub in our room made up for it completely. It would have been a shame otherwise. The room was very high quality.

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay at the Beech Hotel. We stayed in a room with a beautiful lakeside view and we made full use of our hot tub as well as the indoor spa facilities which were complimentary as the outdoor spa was closed for refurbishment. The staff were all welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed lovely evening meals and breakfast in the bar overlooking the lake. Would definitely recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Beech Hill Hotel. On arrival we received a complimentary upgrade. Our room was beautiful and the super king bed was unbelievably comfortable, we had the best nights sleep. The complimentary spa was a nice addition to our stay. The hotel is in a lovely location, far enough from the busy town so not too crowded or noisy but also not too far from anything. Perfect for a quiet getaway in the Lake District.

Lovely accommodation. The decor in the room was really nice, and there is a lovely view over Lake Windermere. Staff were really warm, polite and helpful. Breakfast (although expensive) and dinner were great. Dining room decor was nice. The only negatives were: black mould marks in the bathroom grouting and yellow stains at the front, bottom of the toilet basin; the room was cold and had to ask a couple of times for the heating to be put on; the hot tub was difficult to get in and especially out of, with nothing adequate to hold onto.

Beech Hill Hotel and Spa is located on the banks of Windermere. If you do not want to drive and fancy an adventure on the buses its serviced by 1 bus which is not frequent so make sure you study the time table. Having said that you can get about quite easily, once in the main towns. The hotel itself is clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious (look out for a step down into the room though). The terrace has a lovely view across the lake. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful . The Spa pool was a reasonable size. Although there is building work preventing walking the grounds it did not have a negative impact, there was minimal noise and disturbance Breakfast gave a big selection and you could ask the staff if there was anything you required that was not on offer. It was buffet style. I would certainly choose this hotel again
