we really enjoyed staying here, we paid for an upgraded room with its own living room and bedroom, and it was very nice. The only thing we didn't like is the chimney smoke came into our bedroom from the fireplace they have in the hotel so we couldn't have the window open part of the time, but it wasn't a huge problem,and our view was nonexistent as it was just looking out over the top of the hotel roof. I found this hotel totally by accident, and we found it to be an exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was huge and varied, with both items for a typical German breakfast, and eggs, bacon and sausage, if one prefers something more American style.
