Nice room. Residential neighborhood mostly but there’s a decent restaurant across the street

Great location so close to the airport.

We stayed at Potter's on our way to the islands to help with scientific research. The staff was outstanding in providing us with transportation, keeping our suitcases after we checked out, and sharing information and insights about Mackay and its history. The hotel is comfortable, quiet, a block from the coastal preserve and a short walk from Mackay's central business district. We highly recommend it!

The Manager/Owner he was very easy going he had an awesome attitude which has reflected through his staff who were very funny and hard workers which our rooms were clean during our stay clean towels everyday and air con was perfect. Our stay at Marco Polo was awesome

Late check in was very easy. The ro was very spacious and clean. The bed was super comfy. It is super close to restaurants as well. The breakfast hours are a little late on weekends, but there are coffee packets and tea in the room.

Easy to find, right across from the river, so nice view. One block away from small, quiet downtown. We liked that the Quest hotels have kitchenette, if you want to cook.

Great Motel, very clean and well maintained very quiet even though it is on a main road, staff were very friendly and helpful.

If you have to go to Mackay this is the place to stay. I felt like I was a family member. The lively couple who takes care of the lodge were so nice and helpful. They helped me book a tour to the Whitsundays, gave me great recommendations on food and other activities. They even dropped me off at the airport.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean, tidy, and well-presented, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help whenever we had questions. There was plenty of convenient parking, which made coming and going easy. Overall, the motel was quiet, comfortable, and great value for money. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to other travellers.
