"We LOVED staying at the Mirador. The staff there REALLY seems to care about providing an amazing experience. Guisepie said to act like this was home and it felt like it. The view from the restaurant is so relaxing and scenic. The staff is helpful in providing directions to hikes etc. It’s a block out of town so it’s more quiet but It still close enough. "Beautiful, old stone building. View from the front terrace and dining room is looking right at the Cirque de Gavarnie. Great access to hiking trails around this Cirque and also access to hikes into adjacent Cirques. The room was basic and dated, but clean and comfortable, nonetheless. A few oddities like no place to hang a towel, or the hall light didn't turn on when leaving the room (motion sensor was at the elevator end of the hall).
