The reviews we read were right! This was an amazing stay. This little farm is much prettier, more picturesque, and overall more lovely than the pictures could possibly suggest. Beautifully restored 12th century chateau. Modern bathroom inserted into period bedroom with antique furniture. Beds comfortable, adequate lighting, and nice tv. Over the top breakfast with everything one can imagine. Chef/owner prepared dinner by reservation smelled incredible, wished we had known in advance. Good location for Normandy, D-Day tours, and Bayeux Tapestry Museum.

The Hotel Chateau de Bellefontaine truly lives up to its reputation. Our taxi entered through the iron gate into a relaxing environment. We were greeted by a flock of ducks, geese and swans.
