"This hotel has to be one of the best examples of price/performance that I have stayed in in Germany. The staff was awesome, the breakfast buffet was the best I have had in a while, the price point of the rooms was great. Also the location to the Wittenberg Platz UBahn, directly next to KaDeWe and the Kufürstendam, and 10-15 minutes to the Aquarium and Zoo makes the Mercure unbeatable in my eyes. "Stylish, well-appointed hotel in a nice quiet area between Potsdamer Platz and Kreuzberg. Great room and amenities, very nice and helpful staff. Convenient to transport and walkable to either the central sights or over to central Kreuzberg. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. "

"Located in a good area of Berlin. Easy access from nearby U Bahn at Stadtmitte to all parts of the city. Walkable to Checkpoint Charlie, Unter den Linden, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag. Good restaurants nearby on Charlottenstrasse. We had self catering studio and shopped at nearby Lidl (5 minutes walk)Helpful staff who spoke good English. Would stay again if returning to Berlin"
