Hotels in Munich City Centre

The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.

We were unfamiliar with the Westend area, but really liked the neighborhood of this hotel. We chose this hotel because of the area, price and Trip Advisor reviews. We had no complaints with this hotel (other than the fact that it does not have air conditioning, which might be a factor in warmer weather). We could not have been happier with our stay. The hotel and room were spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was much more than I was expecting. We stayed in a king room with a terrace, the room was nicely appointed and a decent size. The buffet was a little expensive no real American breakfast choices. We enjoyed the bar and lounge area most evenings after visiting Oktoberfest. The location was perfect, centrally located to the train stop, bus stop and tram. It was also walking distance to Octoberfest.

Only place I'll stay in Munich, been to two Oktoberfest and 2 Christmas markets and the location next to Central train station makes this a superb location.

I stayed at the hotel for one night in August. The check in person was very gracious in greeting us. Although we arrived she worked to get us an early check-in. And we did get the room early. Hotel room size is bigger than normal European hotel so this is a plus, you got 2 free beer bottles and free water daily. Step out from the hotel and in front of you is market with all sort of food stalls and beer garden. The famous Hofbrauhaus and Shopping area is prob about less than 10 minute walk. Highly recommend

This was a very quick trip to Munich, Germany and I couldn't have been happier with this hotel. The location was perfect for me. It was a very easy walk to a train station with a direct line to the airport, a less than ten minute walk to Marienplatz, beer halls, museums, and again the train station that got me to wherever else I wanted to go. We spent five nights at the Hotel Uhland and were so happy to have found it. The room was large, comfortable, clean and all you could want. The breakfast was included and included fresh fruit, cheese, meats, yummy pastries and delish coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful, I lost an earring and they even found it and sent it to me in the U.S.! We will be back!

This place is definitely a property I would recommend. Staff was very nice and friendly and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I had in Europe, so far. The only thing that sucked was the eggs were a little cold. The rooms are cozy, nice and the bed was very comfortable as well.

This hotel is located in a residential neighorhood and it is part of a beautiful street. Five-minute of walk to English Garden and 10-minute walk to Marianplartz. Parking is on the street and costs 2 euros using the parking permit provided by the hotel. Two-minute down the street is a local cafe with delicious pastries and coffee for breakfast.
