"This was the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Stadt Hannover. It is a good category 3 hotel with comfortable, clean rooms and a good breakfast. The staff were very helpful≥"
"Conveniently located, within walking distance of the train station and close to the downtown shopping areas and historic sites. Also, directly on the very pleasant Stadtwall walking path. "
"Stayed with the family in a family room. It was spacious and clean. Pin code access was easy to manage. Walking distance to train station, Innenstadt and ZHG.
We would stay here again."
"Being visiting Goettingen for 20’years, the location, if going on a morning train is excellent…literately 5 min (timed it). Also close to city centre, so for a visit with kids a good option for affordable 2 rooms. BUT, this is not 4 stars, not 3 stars, might pull a 2,5 star. So if they sold, given the reasonably good price, it as what they were, the rating would be higher….but 4 stars is just dishonest."
"Very basic and room was clean. Bathroom not as clean. Good place to sleep, not shower. For price I would stay again. The technology of phone key worked fine."
"Ett hotell som ligger bra till med nära avstånd till city. Bra parkering utanför. Frukosten var det bra standard på. Det finns pool men det är ingen A-C på rummet. Trevlig personal."
"We have stayed for one night only. The room was spacious and clean. It was quiet so we had a good night sleep. Breakfast was really good: wide selection of fresh produce and tasty treats. Another plus was free parking. Location is ok too - the hotel is not too far from a city centre."
"Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung, es ist jedoch sehr hellhörig. Leider bekommt man mit, wenn jemand um 0 Uhr duscht. Die Zimmer sind sauber, man könnte aber die Betten überprüfen, da sie schon sehr durchgelegen sind. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße."
"I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Rennschuh. The room had everything I needed for the night and the staff gave me great tips on places I could get food later in the evening, as well as helpful directions for finding my room and other things in the hotel. I would stay here again!"
"Fantastisk hyggeligt med god beliggenhed ift motirvejen mod Dk. Lækker aftensmad og fantastisk morgenmad. Imødekommende og serviceorienteret personale. "
"Ok hotel close to the Autobahn. Has a pool and a «fitness center» with different machines, but you need approval from a PT tp be able to use them. Breakfast was 5 put of 10, nothing special but does the job."

If you want to see a show while you're in town, try and grab some tickets at German Theatre Goettingen in Innenstadt. If you want to experience more of the culture Goettingen has to offer, head to Old Town Hall Goettingen, Georg-August University of Goettingen, and Bismarckhäuschen.
If you like quiet time surrounded by flowers and greenery, hang out at Old Botanic Garden Goettingen in Innenstadt. If you like Old Botanic Garden Goettingen, you'll love Münden Nature Park, just a short drive away.
Nice hotel across the street from the main train station. 10 min walk yo the christmas market. Breakfast was nice and filling. Only complaint is I drink a lot of coffee in the morning and they serve a small pot which for me is 1 cup and then yoy have to ask for more. Would be nice to be able to refill on your own.
I just loved this classic old German hotel. It was exactly what we needed for our one-nigut stay in Göttingen. Most importantly: this hotel has WASHCLOTHS! The only one I've found in many years of European travel! But also, every employee we encountered was extremely pleasant, and the room was one of those classic old German hotel rooms work double doors, wooden furniture and big funky windows. The breakfast was very reasonable at €11.50, and we chowed down! I would return anytime.
At first, the check in with a new staff was a bit unpleasant. Later the evening gentleman was very kind, initiated to make the stay better. We are grateful for him and the hotel.
This hotel is truly a 5 star hotel, the staff is fantastic, kind ,friendly
And so helpful. Also the hotel belongs to relais & Chateaux
The hotel has won the prestigious 5 C rating and has been a member
Since 1999. THE 5 C’s are. Character, Courtesy, Calm, Charm,
And Cuisine. This is a great honor. Like restaurant with Michelin
Stars. Make no mistake ....this hotel is one of the best.
The staff was friendly, accommodation was very nice, excellent breakfast, and location very convenient. I may be a bit old-fashioned but the use of ‘Du’ instead of ‘Sie’ required a bit of and adjustment. Perhaps as a suggestion for improvement.
The parking garage entrance could be marked a bit more clearly from the street. My wife had an ankle injury (fractured her fibula) and at arrival it was not quite obvious where the elevator was so she had to climb a few stairs. It also would be nice if...
Very nice place. Not super-central, but close to the university and an easy 15-min walk into the center, with a couple of supermarkets close by. Also discovered a great Persian neighborhood restaurant (Queen's) around the corner.
